Hi, Amelia. Your sister, Leatha, is in one of the college classes I teach and she told me the exciting news about your transplant. I'm sending so much love and positive energy to you and your family as you move through recovery. πŸ™‚

Amelia, When I read your parents email and it said that you would be writing your journey it did not surprise me. I remember in fourth grade how much you loved to write. You would write to get your mind off the pain you were going through. I am so proud of you. -Sandi Barnhurst
